This product runs on a pair of 1.5 volt alkaline batteries. To replace these batteries, pull open the lid of the container holding the machinery and replace the batteries in the battery holder with new ones (Note: You can use either alkaline or zinc batteries with a voltage of 1.5V. Preferably the batteries should be AAA and non-rechargeable. however, you can use rechargeable batteries as well, but in the long term, it may harm the machinery) If the product dies, replacing the batteries should fix it, and the components of the product should be fine.
